Quantum Immortality and Life Blueprints
Have you heard of quantum immortality?
As a former sceptic about all things woo, I’ve come to believe that science will be able to explain what we experience but can’t always prove.
Recently I came across the concept of quantum immortality and since then I’ve been doing a deep dive on how quantum science theory and spiritual concepts I have already experienced direct proof of can overlap.
Quantum immortality is a theoretical concept suggesting that a person's consciousness never experiences death. It builds on the Many-Worlds Interpretation (MWI) of quantum mechanics, which proposes that all possible outcomes of an event actually happen in separate, branching parallel universes.
How the Theory Works
Branching Realities:
Every time a choice or a random physical event has multiple possible outcomes, the universe splits. You die in one branch, but you survive in another.
Subjective Survival:
Because you can only be conscious if you are alive, your point of view ("subjective experience") must always follow the branch where you continue to live.
The "Quantum Suicide" Idea:
Formulated as a thought experiment by physicist Max Tegmark, this concept imagines a person in an experiment where a gun fires based on a quantum coin flip. While observers in some universes see the person die, the person's conscious self only ever perceives the sequence of universes where the gun fails to fire.
I have some experience of this.
I survived imminent death twice where I really should not have.
Did I die and just jump timelines to one where I survived because I still had so many lessons to complete here?
I’ve listened to countless stories of people who, for example were about to die a violent death, closed their eyes braced for the inevitable, and were suddenly safe. Many times these people stated they were even transported somewhere else geographically in a heartbeat. Like they teleported.
I’ve seen videos of people speaking of a car crash about to happen, closing their eyes for impact, then opening their eyes to being parked on their driveway at home, or somewhere safe, usually with no other people around to have witnessed their arrival.
I’ve seen so much proof that when it’s not our time, all heaven and earth is moved to save us so that we can complete the lifetime we wrote for ourselves (including how we will pass) as per our life plan blueprint before coming here.
I feel that quantum immortality theory also supports that our consciousness cannot die, and can jump to another parallel timeline where we are still alive and still have life experiences to complete according to our plan. Once we reach the end of our self written life plan, we can leave this life and go Home to our default eternal state of being.
